DAY OFF FROM SCHOOL CAMP ASSISTANT COUNSELORS
February 20th, April 10th-14th... MAC is in need of teens 16+ to volunteer as assistant counselors for our Day Off From School Camp. NHS community service hours apply. Seeking teens with interest in the arts, working with children, or teaching. Camp runs from 9:00am-3:00pm. Volunteers may attend for full or parital day.
New Teen Arts Council Forming! High School students interested in the arts are invited to participate in this exciting opportunity. The Teen Arts Council will work with the MTCAC to develop and implement a wide variety of arts programming to engage the youth of our community. Leadership opportunities and National Honor Society service hours and awards are available. Teens must make a committment to regularly attend monthly meetings and events. Well-organized individuals with great attention to detail are needed for help with mailings, order processing, and other office duties. We request a minimum of 4 hours per week.
Friendly, dependable volunteers are needed to help with special events. Event support ranges from venue set-up to greeting and serving visitors.
We welcome pro-bono support including photography, printing, and event management.
The MAC has a limited number of unpaid internship opportunities for local college students studying communications, marketing or design.
The Middletown Arts Center is always looking for new and innovative arts programming. Instructors may apply at any time throughout the year. Instructors hired will be asked to agree to a background check and will be required to be fingerprinted. Applications can be submitted in person at the MAC or electronically to ArtsCenter@Middletownnj.org
Part Time 20-25 hours per week with flexible schedule. Some afternoon, evening and weekend hours required. Individual will be responsible for developing the educational component of the Middletown Arts Center including classes, workshops and camps for children and adults in all arts disciplines. Position will report to the Executive Director and will supervise instructional staff, maintain class and instructional staff schedules and evaluate enrollment data. Educational Supervisor will act as liaison between Executive Director, Office Manager and instructors. Education Supervisor will also be responsible for overseeing Summer Arts Camp program during July and August. Candidates must have experience in education/administration and be able to supervise diverse instructional staff. Interest or experience in the arts preferred.

A background or interest in arts programming, fundraising, event planning, development, technology, or the non-profit sector is especially needed.
