Video Game Design 101

Small Factory (Ages 7+)

In this class we learn the basics/fundamentals of Game Making. Starting out with a brick breaker style game, kids learn how to create sprites and objects. Then they code those objects to bring the game to life. This class is designed for first time Video Game Designers only.

    Singing is fun at any age. What's more, it's great exercise and builds confidence and poise. It can even make you a more powerful public speaker. In this class, you will improve your singing and speaking voice while you learn about music in a positive and supportive environment. The class explores vocal technique and practices together, then works individually on favorite songs.

    KidzArt Animals Animals - Where Art Gets Wild! (ages 3 1/2 - 5)

    For the child who loves art and animals! Through individual guidance and encouragement, your child will complete art projects that enhance fine motor skills. Explore art mediums like clay, paper, marker, and watercolor while learning to draw favorite animals. Students develop Kindergarten readiness through learning to follow direction, focus, interact socially, build confidence, and learn problem-solving. This is a parent drop-off class.

    In this class, students will learn the basic elements of acting through different acting techniques, art, music and improvisation. The students will have fun working on scenes and creating characters from plays and books in a relaxed and positive atmosphere! This class welcomes all levels!

    Adult Intermediate Guitar

    If you played before and want to get back into it, or if you've taken beginner guitar and want to continue improving, this class provides a fun and informative hour that's part lesson and part playing songs. The class explores lots of different artists and styles including blues, finger picking, acoustic rock, country and more. It's a great excuse to dust off that guitar and get out and have fun playing again in a supportive environment.

    Students will use computer modeling and 3D printing technology to create their very own action figure! This 4-week class will provide an overview of the design process, computer aided design and manufacturing. Use the latest tech to bring your imagination to life! Once the figure is created, it will be time to print it, paint it and display it! Maximum 12 kids Minimum 8 kids (Ages 6-10)

                Jazz Workshop

                Here is your chance to learn to improvise, sharpen your skills, and practice playing with a jazz ensemble. Unlike typical jam sessions, the instructor guides the group so everyone will learn about techniques and popular jazz styles (swing, Latin, and ballad) plus have the opportunity to play, experiment, and improve. The group studies and plays jazz standards so you'll be able to "call the tunes" and "know the changes" when you sit in with other jazz players

                    Learn the copper foil and lead methods of stained glass construction and the ancient art of glass mosaic. Beginners to advanced students are welcome.
